With a successful store at the iconic Bondi Beach, COG Digital were briefed with a digital marketing and content production requirement that needed an omni-channel approach. To take Bondi Active to the world via an eCommerce and content marketing strategy, the performance marketing required a highly optimised suite of digital platforms and touch-points that would directly serve the targeted consumer with content that resonates with them and engages them to take action.

Bondi Active wanted to partner with a Sydney Digital agency that can provide website development, SEO, rich media content to a large format production quality. And importantly what was demanded of COG Digital was a digital marketing approach that encompasses research, key insights, creative concepts and performance eCommerce conversion focused advertising executions across the Google Double Click and AdSense platforms.

The solution

Simple straight forward video and image assets to offer a virtual brand experience. Also including a strategic and tactical approach to managing global performance marketing campaigns on limited budgets.

A strong SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) foundation will support any Search Engine Marketing (SEM) activity and programs, thus a key part of our breif was to inject some link equity considerations into the Digital Strategy.

By having access and control to all Bondi Active digital touchpoints we were able to create a comprehensive eCommerce approach to search and display network campaigns that penetrate different hemisphere’s during the appropriate summer / winter months.

Key to this was to generate content marketing that coincides with this global strategy. And key to this activity was to continuously deliver SEO tasks to round out a cohesive suite of month on month domain authority exercises.

Focused on ensuring that organically, Bondi Active as a brand is competing strongly and providing every opportunity for SERP’s (Search Engine Ranking Position) to support any paid search activity. As Bondi Active is largely a destination brand the emotional reinforcement for display retargeting is unsurpassable and a key requirement in this strategy to take Bondi Beach active to the world!

The results

Exceeding 200%+ ROAS on average for over 12 months from Google Ads and Facebook Campaigning for the Bondi Active brand.

Local recognition also increased store visitation and retail sales which delivered against the omni-channel aspect of the brief.

With domain authority increasing and the brand increasing it’s stock holding and product range size, the digital assets continue to achieve growth off the strong foundation COG Digital created. With sales now launching to a warm and identified audience, an immediate increase in eCommerce performance achievable, making the SOH management easier by having a powerful digital presence that can be used as leverage in production and stock management.
